I want to spend the bulk of my life without navy drug testing so therefore I'd like the navy to train me and allow me to get college credits and a degree..........

Well, you'll get a lot of sailing and ocean in if you do.

You have answered your own question. You want the education, so go for it. Qualify and chose a job that will help you out with your sailing. QM will keep you up to date with charts, and give you an idea of what Islands you want to check out when your done with the navy. So youll have to lay off the weed for a few years, the end will be worth the sacrifice

yer odd, but here goes:

there WILL BE RANDOM DRUG TESTING IN THE NAVY. in fact at least one per year at every command you are at..command wide, and then once a month a random sweep and if your number comes up, thou shalt be peeing in a cup.

yes, the Navy will train you, but they won't 'allow' you to do anything but the job. If you want to get a degree while in, it can be done, but it is done on your own time,and the mission will ALWAYS take precedence.

probably as practical as a third tit, since there aint no sailboats in the navy these days and since there is literally no space in a ship you'll more likely to hate ships after that so think about it
