what are these words?
in contradiction, in my opinion, christianity, judaism and Islam all proclaim that their holy books contain the words of God. But they all transgress the interpretation of the spirit, which says ALL scriptures are good for correction in righteousness. All scripture was given by inspiration, Does this also include the Book of Mormon, or does it always exclude everything other than the bible.
I believe God spoke to me, and right away I have heard the words of Jesus which are not written in the scriptures.
All the words therefore that proceed out of God's Mouth are NOT written, and people who forbid the revelations of God are therefore in great error.

There is only one true God and every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He alone is God.

From a Gnostic viewpoint one has to understand the symbology. The "Word" of God isn't just the books and the men that inspired them. The books are a pale shadow of the "Word" at best, easily misunderstood and incomplete. No the "Word" is anytime God makes expression in this universe, whether by creation (which doesn't contradict evolution for god wouldn't use geology to lie) or by you being inspired to say the right word at the right time to reveal the nature of god to another human, or even to yourself. You can be and frequently are the revelation of God for yourself. It becomes part of your intuition, and like Gabriel (Servant of the Spirit of God) and the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God) will tell you all things.
God's not through speaking yet. Even the dim light of the popular bible available today says "No eye has seen, nor has it entered the mind of man the wonders in store for us." I paraphrased that but you get my point.
Final point ignorant people occasionaly experience Gnosis (inner revalation) and the experience is so intense the person experiencing it believes his entire world view has been validated, then goes about proclaiming lies convinced he's correct. Seldom does one receive SCIENTIFIC knowledge through Gnosis one receives spiritual and emotional knowledge, but if you were ignorant and uneducated before the experience you will be just as ignorant and uneducated after the experience. So be careful of how you interpret your experiences.
Blessed Be.

Considering the fact that there were people here in the Americas before the rest of the world even knew this land existed...it is only logical that God would have give these people prophets and told them the same things He told the people of the Bible. Therefore, it IS the word of God.
The Torrah includes the 5 books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
The Qur'an is Muhamad's intrepretation of the Old Testament.

"I have heard the words of Jesus which are not written in the scriptures"
God has spoken to me too. He's told me to sign up for a class at church and to volunteer for a ministry and those words were not in the Bible. But they were in accordance with what the Bible teaches. If you think that you are hearing God tell you something that contradicts what the Bible teaches then you are not hearing from God because He is eternal and perfect and He doesn't contradict Himself or learn something new and change his mind about a matter.
When Paul wrote 2 Tim 3:16 he was referring to the OT but it has been applied to his writings that Peter referred to as Scriptures as well as the rest of the NT. Books like the book of Mormon are not considered Scripture outside of the LDS religion.

Its like a package. Jesus died. He rose. He's alive and well, seated at the right hand of God. He's not the I WAS, or the I WILL BE, but the I AM (present tense). UM, how old is the Bible-I mean, to be the I AM then and now, has to mean he is more than son of man. He was God, {{in the flesh}}. Jesus lives, God lives. You will die in your sins (b/c Jesus makes us acceptable to God), if you do not believe that Jesus, being Son of Man and also Son of God, died and rose to Heaven for just you. Bottom line, to believe Jesus died for your sins. Just the last 5 words. The complicated stuff is for more mature Christians, not new Babes in Christ. Jesus is also the Author and Finisher of our faith. He's got it, np.

The Holy Koran has never been changed, the Koran has the original verses of the Torah, Bible Testaments, these Holy books were edited during the centuries & therefore corrupted the teachings of God & the Holy Prophets (May Peace Be Upon Them), Islam came to store the original Abrahamaic faith, which as i just stated was corrupted by man during the centuries, some of the verses in the bible were written centuries after Jesus's (May Peace Be Upon Him) time on Earth (before the Second Coming), therefore one does not know what verses are true teachings of God & what verses are not, PEACE.

Hi Bob,
If your revelation contradicts anything written in Scripture............uh that light you saw.........might of or (no doubt) was the other side (of the spiritual realm). in other words, don't listen!
But......yeah .....be cautious.........i hear ya! I believe people are communicated to in dreams and maybe while fasting, etc. But remember John wrote, 'if all the things were written down all the scrolls of the world couldn't hold them.' (I paraphrased)

Well, no-one knows. Because no-one wrote them down.
The first accounts of him date to at least two generations after his death.
Now if I said to you you must run your life on the precise words of a speach my grandad heard and told me, and which I wrote down yesterday - well, you would call me mad.

If you want to find out what God's word is, then obey what you know to be his word and ask him for more knowledge and understanding and you will find out what his word is.
