I've been looking for a new way to do my thick, curly hair without damaging it. I saw several products at the store today, but it was quite overwhelming trying to pick something. My questions:
Do straightening gels work without heating appliances?
Do straightening conditioners/gels work very well?
Will the chemicals in the straighteners damage my hair?

What I'm particularly worried about is damaging my hair. One product I saw was by Sexyhair, a relaxing conditioner. Any suggestions of products that work? While I'm getting used to it curly now, I'm just looking for an occasional change. I am really clueless about hair products, etc. so I really appreciate the help!

No, These Products Will Not Damage Your Hair. In Fact, They May Help Improve It's Condition. They're Basically Just A Type Of Styling Gel Or Creme.
