Okay every once and a while, its becoming more frequent as the weeks go bye, I get a throbbing pain on and off in my back tooth. I know I have been asking this question a million times, but Im just getting really nervous!

-Back right tooth (I only chew on this side of the mouth)-
-It throbs in any conditions, not neccesarily in sugar, hot/cold
-I have been confronted with a "Tooth grinding problem.
-The tooth feels like it hurts in the middle of the tooth.
-The jaw below it hurts sometimes too.
-This tooth takes most of the attention when it comes to eating.

If im not specific enough, please tell me, and I will include the answers.

I forgot to say though, its not a constant pain, its not ALWAYS when I eat, just a few times a day.

The tooth could be hypersensitive because of your bite and because you grind. But it sounds more like you do have a cavity in the tooth and the cavity is getting pretty close to the nerve, making the tooth super sensitive. If this is the case, then you may need a root canal or an extraction instead of just a filling. Go and see a dentist.

It sounds like a cavity, I think the best thing to do right now is to visit your dentist. It's much easier, finding it early and getting it fixed than being too late (you would need to get the tooth extracted or get a root canal, which both costs more and is a lot more painful). Make an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible to get it checked. Good Luck.

It could be cavity or it could be that your mouth is too full and you need to have that tooth extracted. In any case, make an appointment with a dentist.

my brother had the same symptoms.. and we finally got him to go to the dentist, and the cavity was so bad he needed a root cannal.. which is ALOT more expensive than finding it earlier and getting it filled. So even if you're not sure.. best to get it checked out! ^^

sounds like it could be a cavity....could also be sensitivity from worn down enamel, but since its affecting your jaw, i think its something more than that, and you should probably be checked by a dentist.
