And a big Christian. (he wears a cross with the word "believe" on the back)
The ex singer of Korn is a Christian too for that matter, one of Criss' friends.

What Cris Angel does is simply illusion.. I used to work as a magicians assistant simply watching his illusions I have been able to pick apart most of them to figure out how they are done..
In most great illusions the important factors are point of view for the audience. (I.E. you don't want them to see what's behind the curtain, under the table, or really inside the box)Distraction (I.E. if I can get you to watch what my right hand is doing you ignore my left hand) and believable plants (I.E. people who are in on the trick appearing to be strangers planting the crowd mentality "I saw that didn't you" thoughts.. )
Cris Angel is good most of his illusions are seamless but they remain just that illusions nothing more..
