Your dog should have been spayed a long time ago and is to old to still be having puppies. I can't imagine that you would think of examining her yourself--only a vet should do that--that is what they are trained to do. Get her to a vet ASAP.

If you cannot afford treatment for her, contact your SPCA, they will help you if you don't have the ability to pay. Right now, your poor dog could die, AND her puppies--which is a terrible thing to do to animal who has been your companion for 8-9 years.

Please ask your parents to contact the SPCA and explain the situation so that your dog can get the help she needs--they will even help find homes for the puppies if she is pregnant.

You should have gotten her spayed! And,don't stick your hand up there! Do you want to kill her? Like another person said,if you can afford a computer, new clothes,a cell phone, going out to eat, etc, then you CAN afford to take the dog to a vet.You could also take her to a shelter;they often have low cost spay/neuter clinics. There is NO excuse for not having your dog fixed, unless you are completely destitute and have nothing at all.Call a vet right away, get everyone in your family ,and your friends,to donate a bit of money, and pay them back when you can.Don't let the dog suffer, and don't bring more unwanted puppies into the world.

Take her to get spayed NOW. Yes, you should have done so earlier - my goodness the irresponsibility of it all. To have an older dog, one that has had trouble in the past and have a non-neutered male also in the house is absolutely ridiculous.

Take her to get spayed. If you don't have the money for an emergency sitaution which sounds like it may arise . . . take her in now. And while you are at it - take the boy dog in to. It sounds like you all don't have control of either dog so let's make sure he doesn't impregnate any of hte neighbor's dogs now . . .

By the way: IF you have a cell phone, if you have cable TV, if you have the internet, if you have a Wii, XBox, or Playstation, if you and your parents have a car, then you have the money - so use it and spend it on a living breathing creature who didn't ask for this to happen

Tell your mom that small dogs live to be about 15 years old. My yorkie Buddy was 8 when we got him from the shelter. I don't know what I'd do without him now. We have a puppy and he plays with the puppy at age 13.

hmm...an irresponsible pit bull owner...you should see the shock on my face!

Ok...crap happens you don't have the money for a vet to deliver...an 8 year old dog that is not fixed, is more likely to be suffering cancer than pregnancy...see if she has any kind of discharge or odor...then cancer is even more likely.
You will need to have a vet at least check her once and possibly euthenise her as uterine cancer is painful.

Feel the outside of her belly for puppies, but, beware...uterine cancer is painful...perhaps a muzzle should be used...

If she is pregant, theres not really anything you can do now but hope for the best....

Good luck...I hope she's just bloated!

I have a pitbull, and its people like you that make pitbull owners look bad.
You should have gotten your dog spayed BEFORE the first litter. Or at least after the first.
Thanks for contributing to the stereotype that pitbull owners are dumb and irresponsible!!!
And, if you can't afford medical care for your dogs, you shouldn't have them.

if the first litters didn't go well, and you are scared, then WHY didn't you fix this dog? now her life is endanger and her pups. No, this isn't a cow, you don't go sticking your dirty hand in her...sheesh, take her to a clinic or shelter.
