I was asking my friend to send me some donuts from another state because the donut shop where she's gonna buy the donut from is unavailable in my state.

Any tips? Is it even legal or allowed?

Strange question, huh? lol

Yes, you can ship food like donuts from another state. The main things you can't ship is alcohol or medication. I would not send it USPS, they aren't reliable and who knows when you will actually get them. FedEx is great I would try them. Hope your donuts are yummy!

It's perfectly legal. Just make sure you cushion the inside of the box so that the donuts don't bounce around too much. I ship baked goods to people all the time from my luxurious apartment here in NYC. Have fun, use overnight shipping...it'll be worth it to the person getting the goodies.

Yummy Yum Yum

I just prefer them. Plus, they've never lost a package like the USPS. For me it's cheaper because I can ship from work and they do get a discount.

Tips, freeze em then seal them with the least amt of air, because unless you overnight them you could receive a
nice selection of fuzzy green donuts.

We once tried to send ny bagels down to Texas .. didn't work
out so well.

Well they could probably freeze them so they don't go bad, and then ship them in a styrofoam cooler. Maybe that would work... but it might cost a lot of money.
