So you can still go to hell after you've been saved right? Like if you still sin, but not backslide. Romans really confuses me. You are righteous because you accepted him as your savior, but if you still sin are you still considered that? I just wish i could peacefully carry on with my life without always asking myself if im really gonna be saved in the end (goin to heaven).
I still sin, i still like to go out every now and then, and then other things. Well i guess im not going to then. I hate to say it but i kind of rather never think abut where im going than to think about it and worry and never be happy. So whats the answer, can you still go to hell if you sin? And you're not righteous?

How can somebody not sin at all anymore after they've been saved? I thought that.. took time??

I guess the part about you saying we can't get saved over and over again for sinning makes sense. Man I wish the bible would ust have it in the as PLAIN as day intead of letting everybody get confused and ask a question like this.

Ofcourse you're confused, because that logic doesn't make sense. If we had to be saved again and again and again to be sinless, then we'd be saved every day of our lives.

The whole point of Jesus dying on the cross was to die Once and for All. To cover ALL sin from the beginning of man till the end of Man. So every sin you commit in the future has already been paid for with Jesus' Sacrifice. All you have to do is believe that he died on the cross and rose again on the Third day, repent of your sins(ask for forgivness and commit to stop sinning, though God knows you will sin again) and you are saved for Good.

Once you're saved, you're always saved. There's nothing that can change that. NOTHING you can do can change that, nor anyone else. If that could be changed, then there would be no reason for Jesus to have died on the Cross.

I was reading some of your other questions and answers. I think you are saved, but the reason you're not happy is because you're backsliding. You can't "peacefully carry on your life" if you are backsliding. The Holy Spirit is convicting you about the sin in your life which is why you always worry about not being saved. You know you need to give up the nightclubs for one thing. If you continue to ignore the Holy Spirit for too long, after a while you won't hear his voice anymore. A saved person will not go to hell. Everyone sins. But if you deliberately continue in a sinful life, there is a question as to whether or not you ever got saved. Please get right with God today. Tomorrow may be too late.

No one is righteous. When the book of Romans speaks of righteousness, it is speaking of Jesus' righteousness through you, because he lives in you when you become a child of God. It is confusing, but know this..if you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and was raised from the dead then you have been sealed with the sign of Redemption. You cannot lose your salvation. When Jesus died on the cross, he said "It is finished." His final act closed the chapter on the old ways of seeking God's forgiveness for sin. (the animal sacrifice.) He became the last sacrifice, the most holy, unblemished sacrifice that was meant to cover the sins of the world.

God says that if you confess your sins, then He is faithful and just to forgive you. Don't spend each day worrying about where you are going. If you are a believer, you will see heaven. Satan will try every trick in his book to lead you astray. He can't have you anymore (because you have been sealed with Redemption), but Satan sure does try to make Christians miserable on earth- because that is all the time that fallen angel gets with us!

Your peace and your joy come from God. You must learn to rest in it and let him carry your heavy burdens. Once you turn it over to Him, you will feel your peace.

And PLEASE, do not go to watchtower.org. That commenter is promoting Jehovah's Witness, a cult that will only confuse you.

Those that teach that you can back slide need to study the Word of God. Your slavation is linked directly to your faith that Jesus was the sacrifice for your sin. There is no way you can live a sinless life, so you must totally depend upon the salvation found in Jesus Christ. Trust and accept the gift. This is what the Bible teaches. Those that fall away never depended upon Him and thus were never saved. Accept the truth of the Bible, live for Christ in a way that will bring glory to Him, and trust that Jesus knows you and died for you.

It depends, going out in itself is not sinning... We all experience times where we are not close to God... We all experience times where we feel we can never meet God's standards, we just need to keep on trying and pressing in to God...

Premeditated Habitual sin that God has dealt with, in you can cause you to loose salvation... It really is not as easy as it seems...

You can still change the way things are going... You can ask God to help you out and really only God knows, so chat with him about it...

Giving God time really does give you more time, when your relationship with God is first, your other relationships begin to get better, the things you do God blesses...

Righteous means right standing with God...

Don't forget you are very precious to God, He loves you so much, He wants a relationship with you.

(I saw your answer to my question and I don't think your a lost cause just keep at it you sound like you might sort it all out... I will pray for you. sorry you don't have email)

1st you need your " Bond untill the day of redemtion". If you will accept Acts 2:38. And do as it says. You'll be born again. Without a sinful nature. You'll be able to know that you have the only spirit given us in the bible. He will lead you into all truth and rightousness. And don't be fooled by men. YOU WILL SPEAK IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE when he enters your heart. Everybody in the bible did. Its the only evidence given. " Out of a mans mouth proceedth forth the things of his heart" If Gods in your heart, he'll say something. So that the brothers and sisters know that 1 hurdle as been cleared. They will know you can drink a little stronger milk.

If you truly confess your sins and mean it your can be saved, but you can not do this and keep doing the same sin over and over. We as humans will constantly sin but we will have to contantly repent and ask GOD for forgiveness, but like I said we have to be sincere about it. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart you can be saved.

That is a big controversial question. The way I understand it is, nobody is perfect, so of course- you are still going to sin. But if you are trying to go after God with all of your heart, you are okay. If you are really saved, you should show fruit from it. I encourage you to pray about this and ask God to reveal it to you.

No, once you are truly saved, you are saved.
Once you have put your total faith and trust in the Lord Jesus to save you from your sins, you are saved and you are on your way to heaven. After being saved you will still sin, and hopefully as you grow as a christian you would sin less and less often. But when you do sin, it does not mean you go loose your salvation because you are saved once and for all. But when you do sin , your fellowship with God is broken, your prayers are not answered. Only after you ask God to forgive you that your fellowship with God is restored

we all sin everyday! No one is perfect, you can never be sin free ! If you are saved and follow jesus beleiving in him then you are always saved! You can and will still sin but when you know you have sinned then you will ask for forgiveness because if your saved sinning will make you feel bad and you will want to ask for forgiveness! You don't sin just for fun, you know! God will guide you and you will know when you do wrong! You will go to heaven if you are saved no question about it!! God knows we all sin but a christian does not sin intentionally!! Because they know right from wrong because they have the holy spirit in them to guide them and help them to know when they have done wrong!! You just beleive you are saved if you really ask god and you beleive in him, the bible doesn't lie! And all people sin no matter what!! its in our nature ! we just have to watch the nature and remember who we are !!! So we try not to do wrong or sin!
