If you are looking for muscle relaxers the one that I found to be super good for my fibro is one called Skelaxin. The thing I like about it is that it doesn't make me sleepy.

For alternative treatments massages if done by a really good massage therapist can be quite helpful. I tried it for a while a couple years ago and had some good success with the massages.

even though exercise seems like the wrong answer it helps. gentle type movements will actually help your fibromyalgia as it did mine. walking slowly is good. better is swimming with a float. i also take an antiinflammatory that the doctor has prescribed. it took 2 months too see a difference but it really helped. a good over the counter antiinflammatory is advil.;)michele goodluck

Neurontin or Lyrica works wonders. It gave me my life back.
