"Religious" and "Non-Religious" people can agree on several things. While the general standard of morals may be different, there are some things that are universal. The major laws of any country ban murder, rape, and other crimes considered "hardcore" I know of nobody, regardless of religious affiliation, who thinks these are acceptable.

Lying, as far as I know, is considered bad by all, as well as stealing and deception.

But most of all, taxes. Taxes suck, and I don't care what you claim for religion. They're a hassle, and nobody, including the IRS, likes dealing with them.

Actually, religious and non-religious people tend to agree about a lot of things. Morality for one, is pretty consistent across the board in our culture. Which shows that being a moral person, contrary to popular belief, has nothing to do with a belief in invisible supernatural beings.

Most people could say that religious and non religious people could agree on the fact that they, in fact, can not agree on religious issues.

We can agree on the facts, if not the interpretation of those facts.... For example.....

Fact (as far as I remember..)---
All living organisms have 80-90% of their DNA in common. We can agree on that...

However....

Evolutionsists can interpret it as "proof" that all life came from a common ancestor, with mutations creating variety.

Creationsists can interpret it as "proof" that an all-knowing, all-powerful being chose to use the same basic template in creating all life, adjusting that template as needed.

There's lots of facts out there to agree on. But in regards to the interpretation- I find it easier (and more pleasant) to agree to disagree. I know it can be done- I do it all the time.

There are probably a lot of things they can agree on.
I would say they would agree that the earth is round.
they would agree that the earth goes around the sun, not that the sun goes around the earth.
They would agree that the moon is not made of cheese.
I could go on, but this is getting silly.

That there is a lack of Love in the world.

and

Death is inevitable.

I hope they can at least bank on this:

When I tell them of Gods Word, it is out of love for God and for them, and so I can obey Jesus' Commandements to 1. Love God (Be true to his Word) 2. Love your neighbor. That fufills the Law and Prophecy.

It is not out of spite... which is the main motivation of many R&S'ers.

Obvious things such as fish live in water... rocks are not alive... AMERICANS ARE LAZY (I am not being racist, just honest... I fit into this category)... I also believe that almost everybody would agree that mass murder with absolutely no motive is wrong.
