That phony photo has been doctored so many times that this one still has the United States Coast Guard insignia on it in front of the word Canada. Originally, this was created to spoof the Cost Guard. As a coastie, I can tell anyone who doesn't realize it, that that is actually a soldier who was manning a .50 cal machine gun on a troop carrier and he was cleverly superimposed on a dingy.
We have had dealing with the real Canadian Navy and they are fine sailors and have some beautiful vessels. However, they could stand to be a little larger. The Canadian Cost Guard is top notch, too.

hey I'm Canadian and just have to say that we don't need a navy, the rest of the world doesn't hate our guts, and we wouldn't want to change that anytime soon by building 100 million dollar ships while our education and healthcare systems go to hell.
So enjoy your trillion dollar debt, and try to use your massive military before the world bank and china repo them :(
