My last ex says she wants to be friends and still talk, she doesn't understand why I'm not being nice to her anymore, why would I want to be friends with someone who dumped me?

Supposedly the only reason she split up with me is over my kid, at this point I could care less if she drops dead.

AN EXCELLENT OBSERVATION.

WHY??

Because -->> A man would rather spend his precious time with a worthwhile girlfriend - or lover - than a woman who is NIETHER.

This is something you can say right to a woman's face with out any reservation.

Women LOVE to "pretend" they are "friends" with men . . .but the FRIEND ZONE is a actulaly the place where women DISCARD the men they are no longer attracted to.

Being "friends" with a woman (especially one who once "loved" you) is CRAAAAP . . . not only for the reasons I juts mentioned . . but women are LYING when they say they want to be "friends". How do you KNOW she is lying???

BECAUSE IF YOU ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH HER AND YOU PHONE HOME TO TELL HER YOU WILL BE GOING OUT FOR DINNER TONIGHT WITH ONE OF YOUR "FEMALE FRIENDS" TONIGHT INSTEAD . . . . SHE WILL THROW A SCREAMING FIT!

Thats how.

A women will "SAY" she really loves to have male friends . . . until the MALE has female friends. And that's all the PROOF you need that women have no concept of "friendship". Add that to the fact that they will nearly KILL each other over the last handbag on sale . . . and it all starts to make perfect sense.

LOL!!!!

10 Mantastic points for YOU, my good man. Stick to what you believe in . . . and dont waiver.

Now go out there and find yourself a girl who will LOVE to be a worthwhile girlfriend - or lover - to you. . . and IGNORE the ones who AREN'T.

Dont let ANY woman make you feel bad about how you spend your time. She has no business TRYING to make you feel bad about HER choices.

:)

If she dumped you, I don't think I would want to keep her around. But then, I've had some long relationships that eventually didn't work out. Just because I no longer want that type of relationship doesn't mean that I don't care about them. To spend a lot of time with someone means that you must have made some type of connection and have a lot in common. I want to know how they're doing and how their family is doing and all that type of stuff. So I guess the difference is I want to be "friendly" not friends. Relationships sure can ruin a good friendship. But how can you spend all that time and not want to say Hi How are you? How have you been?

In my opinion it's polite to be friends with her even if she has dumped you. Still being friends means that you still care for each other just at a much smaller level. It also slightly depends on the reasons she dumped you. My ex dumped me about a year and half ago and she is one of my best friends now.

There could be a lot of reasons. She still likes you to a certain degree and is afraid of having you out of her life completely. She could also be saying this in an attempt to spare your feelings, which I feel never works.

Of course, you're under no obligation to remain friends with her, and if you want to move on I say more power to you.

If I broke up with my bf, I'd still like to be friends with him. I don't think it's really about who dumped whom, but more that you're still willing to continue to talk to them and not make things so awkward.

What if you ran into your ex somewhere? Wouldn't that be awkward?

It's better to know that you can still be friendly and that you're on good terms, and that even if you've broken up, you're still there for each other (even if it's not in "that" way) and you can talk to her whenever you want (though you probably don't want to).

if she doesnt like you like you like her whats the point in going out? if you are nice to her and are friends with her then she might start liking you again. if she likes someone else oh well being nice and being her friend will put you on her good side

ive used this recently. its probably because she DOES want to be your friend. I dumped a guy because i started dating him because i thot i loved him, but the truth was, he was the guy i had always wanted to be friends with, not date.
