I seen people with bank gift cards. They use it like a regular credit card or something.. does washington mutual bank sell them?

These are usually pre-paid credit cards such as MasterCard or Visa, Washington Mutual along with many major banks issue them.

Be careful, though I've seen these with and extra fee attached.

UGH... you seen? You saw... anyway, that's besides the point. Providian is now a part of Washington Mutual (WaMu). When I had my Providian card, I could go online and very easily buy a bank gift card. I'm sure the process hasn't changed much since WaMu took over Providian. Good luck.

Every bank, Walgreen, big food store, selling them, some of this card you can refill and used again, and you use them as regular CC,
