Probably enough to make the dog good and sick though. Snickers are nuts, caramel, nougat with a chocolate coating. I have a 120# Bloodhound that ate a 5 oz. Easter Bunny. It was cheap chocolate (Palmer). The darker the chocolate, the worse it is. Baking chocolate is really bad. I'm glad the pup survived.

Snickers is caramel, nuts and milk chocolate. The actual amount of real chocolate was pretty small. A dog could live after eating a hersheys bar even as milk chocolate has low amounts of actual cocoa. True dark chocolate will do them in, though, so be cafeful!

There's only a coating of milk chocolate on a Snickers Bar.A dog has to eat a lot of dark chcolate to get sick or die.And the wrapper is just paper;it won't hurt her.Just try and keep the chocolate up where she can't get to it from now on.

He was very fortunate?
Our dog ate an entire bag of milk-chocolate chocolate chips. Then he ate a box of milk duds in the same week. And he's still alive and kicking. :)
It all depends - some dogs can handle more chocolate than others.

well although chocolate is lethal to a dog, small amounts most dogs can handle. i would consider SNICKERS to be of medium size so the dog must just have an iron stomach

Some dogs do not react the same as others.
My dog used to be fed chocolate, by my brother, Airedale Terrier. he was fine never got sick.
I heard that alot, that chocolate kills dogs.
It is in fact NOT good for them, but I have yet to see a dog die from eating it.
Onions, I heard will kill a dog very quick. again I have not seen that either.

Chocolate is poisonous to dogs, but it has to be a lethal amount. Usually it will just make them really sick.
