The best way to fix credit is by clearing up any unresolved debts and by using credit wisely in the future.

Keep your balances on any credit cards you have low.

Also, if you don't have a credit card, get one!
Many people discourage this, however, use it with caution, don't get into trouble again!

Time, patience will do the trick, and before you know it you'll be back on track.

The first thing is to get the 3 credit reports,

Next, send in letters contesting the negative entries. You do not have to send proof, The burden of proof is on the credit reporter, Once the letter is recieved, they have 30 days to contact the reporting company and the reporting company has to provide proof of the past due or default bill or obligation. If they do not get it to equifax, trans-union ect.. prior to the 30 day deadline, it has to be removed from your history!

It is nothing more than a numbers game, most credit repair companies get over 80% of negative entries removed within 3 to 6 months.

The FTC and other financial companies do not want you to know this, but it is also proven that 80 % of reports have false negative entries on them.

That means you self rightous credit junkies probably have negative entries on your report right now!

i do not recomend credit anyway!

This will soon cause many Americans a lot more than they are will to pay! Get Debt Free!

The ball rolls both ways!

1. Get copies of your credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus.

2. Find out what is inaccurate and send them each documentation as to why it's not accurate.

3. If items need to be paid off, then pay them of make arrangements to. Always keep your receipts when paying off old debts to send to the credit bureaus. Also, know that you can often negotiate payments on debts.

4. Be Patient.

There is a book (written for mortgage customers) that discusses the credit repair process in detail and you can find it at http://www.bankruptcymortgagebook.com
