1. YAY Gays! I'm not gay... but YAY Gays! Gay marriage makes me hap-hap-happy! Love is love, as long as everyone is of age! Who says they can't have kids? I prefer gay parenting to crackwhore parenting!

2. My husband is jealous, and he thinks he's perfect, and god, so I suppose that's possible.

3. Somebody has an anger management problem!

Most religion values faith over logic. If everyone walked around using logic there would be no such thing as mind control, and mind control is pretty useful. Blasphemy celebration! Tonight at my place!

1. It has to be wrong. Otherwise (GASP) sex would have to be recognized as possibly being enjoyed for something other than procreation.

2. Sure, as long as they also possessed the flaws of anger, a masochistic sense of humor, and vengefulness.

3. Of course - they have to lead with an iron fist. Doesn't everyone smite their children when they don't clean their rooms? Not just the offender, either. All of them. Nip it in the bud and start over fresh.

Logic would require that some people take a long hard look at what they have blindly followed without question, just because they were told to believe. Children have no problem getting over it when it's the tooth fairy or santa, but adults tend to get their drawers in a twist when it comes to Bible stories.

And by the way EARL, the highest percentage of people with HIV are not gays-they are heterosexual minority males. Do a little research, or on second though-don't. That would just give you another group to persecute.

There may as well be, because Christians would have no problem with following that one. Then at least they'd be doing SOMETHING that their religion tells them to do.

Then again, if Christians would choose not to follow this one, like they do with the rest of them, would not the world be a better, more logical place?

1. I have a gay relative that would like to get married. Personal enough?

2. If we were supposedly all created in "God"'s image, then he would have to feel jealousy. Therefore, he would not be a perfect deity.

3. Only an impotent deity would exterminate an entire race because of a certain cultural or behavioral trait rather than eliminating the problem itself.

Just speaking as an atheist - who is pro-gay marriage,

k, gay marriage affects me personally cause gay people will get married and then we can be like the rest of the free world and maybe america will look like decent human beings

regarding your question about the perfect diety having jealousy, question is absurd since god doesnt exist

regarding 3 again absurd, but i like the answer someone gave me a few months back that the flood is metaphor for baptism

No,it would be:Thou shalt not use the art of pilpul to wish away God.How does sodomy affect me?I live in a world with billions of other humans. What we allow as standards affects a culture positively or negatively.Study past history and you wil find empires self-destructed over that sin.The Deluge? The Nephilim were half angel/half human and sin was rampant. All,but Noah and his family were corrupted genetically and spiritually. And they are at it again in these Last Days.Read secular history for yourself.I'm flabbergasted at the low foreheads here speaking incessantly about science and logic, and yet the most ignorant statements are regurgitated ad nauseum proving the lack of intellectual curiosity of the Christ-rejecters.Do the homework. My worldview is strengthened by my studies outside Scripture. Why be afraid to research on your own?

good challenge, I will see what I can do.

As to The 11th commandment, if it is Thou Shalt Not Use Logic, you can bet your bootie most Christians have followed this one a lot better than thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain!

As to logical explanations for your questions, the logic is that there is no logic to ANY of those things, and the only logical conclusion is that the teachings of Christianity are illogical, arbitrary, and frequently bigoted.

OK, I am off to the challenge....

Bright Blessings,

I am by no means a Christian but it's true, you're questions lack logic and are extremely one sided and difficult to answer. To me, Christians follow Christianity because it is all laid out on the table. It tells you what to do and how to do it, and gives your the perception that if you don't do it it's wrong. It tells you how to think and what to think, not allowing you to discover morality on your own. Which is why I believe Christianity can be considered a form of mind control, making people believe in a false reality and distracting them from their real reasons of living. I am an Odinist, I follow my Ancestral religion. To I know anything about my afterlife though, if there even is one? No, I will worry about that when my time comes to face it. I think most Christians need to stop clinging onto their beliefs, and start having a good idea about life from their own point of view and morals, instead of a books.

1. It doesn't effect me.

2. I believe that a perfect deity would be just that perfect, having jealousy is not perfect.
3. Again a perfect deity, you think might find a better way to correct something they created, right?

LOL And there's isn't any 11th commandment to my knowledge unless I am missing something. God bless and peace 2 u!!:-)))

1. It sucks that Gay people can marry because I AM gay and I can't even get a date!

2. No, absolutely not. And exactly how can we have other Gods before God if there are no other Gods? Can anyone explain that? Even my mother, who DID profess to be Christian, never bought into that one.

3. Um, I don't think so!

Do I get my thumbs up? :D
