Icing is easy to make. Just use a bag of powered sugar (10X) and add a 1/3 cup of water or milk and mix. You may add more or less liquid depending on how thick you want the icing. The icing will melt a little when frosted on top. After icing the top of the roll enjoy eating it while it's hot!

Yes, I make homemade cinnamon rolls.

I take about 3/4 cup of powdered sugar, add some heavy whipping cream till the consistancy is where you want it (more for 'runnier' icing, less for thicker icing), and add about a Tbs of vanilla.

Yum Yum!

The glaze for cinnammon rolls is very simple!
Its just powdered sugar and water! Just wisk in the powdered sugar into the water until you get the consistancy you like. You can also spruce it up a bit! To get a nice shiny glaze add in a little bit up corn syrup or honey. Real vannila extract is a great addition too! Don't just stop there, you can flavor with pretty much anything!! Examples: Orange juice and zest, liquors and many more! Be creative with it! This is coming from a pastry chef.......
Hope this helps! -Jon

It depends on what kind it is. Regular icing is powdered sugar mixed with milk or water to thin it out for spreading consistency. Cream cheese icing is made with cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar mixed together until spreadable with maybe a little milk added.

Easiest and quickest is to mix powdered sugar and a little milk until consistency is achieved, then drizzle over cinnamon roll.

Powdered sugar and water. Put a few tablespoons of powdered sugar in a small bowl, then slowly drizzle water, mixing constantly, until you get the right consistency for a drizzle.

I'm not sure how they make it for commercial cinnamon rolls.

I've always used eggwhites and icing sugar....
I think milk may also work in place of the egg whites
