There is a 14 year old in my neighborhood that has a pretty good lawn mowing business going. He also does some yard clean up and small odd jobs for elderly in the area. He has saved quite a bit of money and is known as reliable, dependable, and reasonable. You can deliver newspapers - there are usually several papers - some weekly, daily, advertisements, etc., and so you should check with your local newspaper if they are hiring. Babysitting is another alternative to make some extra cash.

Keep looking for jobs. Can you babysit? Mow lawns? Walk dogs? Is there a golf course nearby? When I was a teenager, I knew a lot of boys who made money as caddies at the golf course. As a last resort, you can always ask your folks if there are jobs you can do around the house to earn a little extra money.

Same position here. I'm 14 and trying to get a job. Try getting like a under the table job. Like cleaning out cages at a pet store or something...nothing illegal though. Try looking on E-bay or the camera you want...you can usually get things cheaper on there. Anyways good luck and let me know when you find something.

I recently joined Agloco. It's a site where you can earn cash by having a tiny little bar at the bottom of your screen. It's really easy and ligit. There's no viruses and no spyware in this bar call the viewbar. All they do is advertise on the bottom of your computer screen and you get paid. I've already earned money doing this and I wanted to try it out first before telling people. So join and get paid it's that simple. All you have to do is have the bar open while you surf the net and get paid. Follow this link to get started right away! Thank you all.

Getting someone to hire you at 14 is a problem. You might think about starting a business of some sort; if not something common like gardening, think of something that adults find inconvenient to do that you could do for them, and offer your services for the summer.

How about saving your allowence? Maybe do some yard work for people, babysitting, washing cars, looking for a job somewhere else, dog walking.

Go and get a cheap one with your allowance or it is summer, start cutting the grass in your neighborhood...you can get them for $150. Good idea not to get into the drugs!
