he got attached to another unit and that unit is not in our city. i do not have regular contact with him due to the fact that he is always moving. He has not called the house in about a montha nd a half and has not e-mailed me in about 2 weeks. i have already called the red cross but they are having a hard time getting the message to him. so iam asking this question so that i can have more than on person trying to contact him.

YOu are asking a dangerous question. Why don't you have that info in advance? You should be able to contact his home base commander, but they will tell you to contact RC. That's one of the reasons they exsit... to help family find loved ones. If they can't then maybe your husband is in an area that he shouldn't be contacted. Sorry! Good Luck.

Call his 1st Sgt. Why wouldn't you want to call the Red Cross? They are who you'll have to go through to have him come home on emergency leave anyway.

You don't have regular contact with him?

Interent- or call his unit state side and tell them the situation ad they will relay it. but Red Cross is the best bet.

family support services on base should be able to help. Also, many servicemen have email available during deployment.
