I saw a new Ford truck today. It was brand new off the showroom floor, still had the sticker in the window. It was a four door heavily modified with big tires, chrome rims, and a huge flared side fenders (not over the tires but on the side panels) and a flared hood. It looked just like the Ironside truck from the Transformers movie. I think it was a F150. I looked on Ebay and on Fords website and I couldn't find any reference to it. I have ruled out Saleen and Roush. Any ideas on what it is?

We call it a "Tonka" truck.
A few years ago Ford showed a concept vehicle at auto shows & called it a Tonka.

Ford has allowed Tuscany to convert an F150 into the customized truck that you saw.

Not all Ford dealers sell them. There are terratorial contracts.
I happen to work for the dealer in my terratory that is contracted to deal with Tuscany.

And now for the link to the Tuscany "Tonka" truck....

wait wait, if it looked JUST like Ironside.....well it didn't. Ironside was a Chevy BUT i get what you re getting at. Ironside was a Chevy 4500 or 5500.......so once again if it looked like Ironside, Yet was a ford, i would put it as a F-450 or F-550.

edit: SNAPS my bad, I just remembered F-450's look just like the F-350's.....so that would make the truck you re describing a F-550 or a F-650.

sorry.....what can you expect from a Chevy fan eh?

Try searching those for pics and see what you come up with and let me know how close i am.

it is common for automakers to send out new model cars and trucks to aftermarket companies for customizing. this way the companies can make molds for new body parts, and design suspension kits for lifting or lowering. these cars and trucks are then showcased around the country at car shows and dealerships. some of these items will make it into the ford parts catalogs, and some will even make it on to production vehicles.
