1. Mace is illegal in New York.
2. Unlike shooting a gun, in order to spray someone with mace, you have to be close to them. It's not a good idea to use a weapon that can easily be forced from your hand and used against you.

I bought pepper spray at a store in manhattan....just in case I got into a bad situation...it makes me feel a little better having it sometimes. I would never use it if i was getting mugged but maybe if I thought my life was in danger

whats good mase is when people use guns? people just dont fight fair. if you use mase the person would get mad and want to harm u even worst..

Mace (which is spelled with a "c" not an "s") is illegal in New York City so it's not legally sold there.

It is ILLEGAL in New York City. You cannot buy it here, you may go to jail if you have it on you.

Get a one million volt stun gun. Its about $50, but its way way worthed and more effective. It will knock out anyone for about 8 minutes or so. You can buy it online or at any gun store.
