it is the system start up. go to run window(start---->run) and type "msconfig" without coates. it will open the configuration utility. in that open the start up tab and check it.

to add new ones open documents and settings--->all users(or)--->start menu--->start up.

go to this directory and copy a shortcut of the program u want to open in startup

I prefer going through Add/Remove in the Control Panel. I would suggest you don't add more than you need on a daily basis. They are using part of your memory. Other programs can be loaded on an as-needed basis.
