I work in a dining hall on a military base and have become a permanant student of the Lord cause he has restored me to my true self and i can sense things in a persons spirit. I just came back out there after i left an unfulfilling job n its like since i've been delivered there is so much hatred towards me cause i have a different lifestyle and love the Lord so much!! I'm a loving caring helpful person and i have to stay in constant prayer when i'm working cause my fellow employees plot against me. It makes me so sick. All questions and comments welcome.

honey listen to me, I understand what you are going through. But remember that God never wastes a bad situation. If you just hold on and have faith, and allow God to use you, You faith may speak to someone else. Or God may be making you stronger for something. Remember that your life is a testimony. Your experiences will help someone. Read psalms 91. and remember that no weapon formed against you shall ever prosper. be blessed my sister. and if you need to talk make me a friend so that we can stay in touch.

The Bible says that we are to be lights in a dark place. The world is full of wickedness and wicked people. Christianity is a minority - the so-called huge figures citing large groups of Christians is a myth because the people who gather the figures include all kind of groups that are not Christians so that it makes us look like there are much more of us than there really are.
Rejoice in tribulation knowing that you shall receive a greater reward for so persecuted they the prophets of God long ago.
Remember that your example could be the only thing they see that may turn one or more of them to Christ.
Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand.
Be around other Christians all you can who can strengthen you and pray with you.

I have had the same problem with a friend of mine. She is a devoute christian and can't stop obsessing with what other people thing about her, and wants everyone to see her view and support her.
This is life on EARTH no HEAVEN. I believe in God myself, and attend mass 2 a week, but when I am working I work. I'm not to sure it's a good idea to push religion so much during working hours. I do pray before I eat my lunch and before I leave.
You should talk to your boss and see if they have counslers available. You should also tell them that you do feel uncomfortable when you are ridiculed. And don't point fingers or name names! You're doing the same thing if you do.
Just live your life, I'm sure there is someone that you work with that can relate to you about being teased.

If you are in constant prayer while you work, then you are probably not pulling your weight and making others work harder because of it.
What you see as plotting against you may just be people annoyed that you feel you are too special to do the work everyone else is doing.
As far as your co-workers are concerned, they shouldn't know what religion you are. You shouldn't know what they are, it should be a non topic.
My guess is you have no real idea how you project yourself into the world.

It sounds like you mean well but it also sounds like you have put yourself on this pedestal above everyone else. Maybe this might be the reason that everyone is "plotting"against you. Perhaps you should humble yourself a little and see how people react to that.

Just because you have changed, does not mean others have to understand it. I thought the goal of being a Christian was to live your witness. If you are being thought of as a religious nut, then your co-workers probably think that religion has NO PLACE in the work place. You can pray all day - who cares, just do your job and do it well. If you are sharing your faith every day with everyone, they are probably talking about ways to avoid you.

When things like that start happening you also have to look at yourself. It's so easy to blame everyone else but sit back and think about how you've been acting. If you've had a condescending attitude towards them or if you constantly preach to them then maybe it's that. But if you just go on about your business and they still hate you, then maybe they're just full of sht.

People see the Jesus in you. And He said we'd be hated, because they hated Him first. Hang in there and be a light. I can relate to your experience. I recommend praying on the full armor of God every day, if you don't do it, (Eph 6:12-..) and pray for oppertunity. Pray also a hedge of protection around you and cover yourself with the Blood of Jesus (by prayer).
