the proof is the rainbow
Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

God gave Noah many promises.
He promised to spare Noah and his entire family from the flood.
He promised to keep them safe and protect them.
He promised Noah never to flood/destroy the entire earth again with water and God put in the sky a rainbow, that appears during, and after every rain to remind Noah and man today of His covenant promise.
The promise is the rainbow, that shines & streaks across the sky after every rain.

He promised to never destroy the earth due to man's behaviour.
He will be wiping out Satan's system this time, and bringing a world where "morning, outcry and pain will be no more" a world with "plenty of grain". One where rather than using 2% of our brain, and dying, we will fully utilise our incredible bodies that (scientists say) are built for living eternaly.
Don't forget, in the Garden of Eden, they had no lifespan. As time has progressed, we have grown further and further from perfection.
Do I hear you thinking "this isn't really backed up, is it?"??? Well, someone is, so this is just for you! How long did people live for in Noah's day? 800 years!!!!!???????? WOW!!!!!!!
Naah, them scientist's must be wrong ;)

Weird that he gave Noah a rainbow.
If I had been there he'd have given me a wedgy.
Take this divine wedgy as sign that I shall not flood the earth again, except in New Orleans, and all up and down the Mississippi River, and in Indonesia, and....
well OK, I'll not kill all of you, at the same time that is.

God promised Noah that he would never again destroy the earth via floods--his promise is shown via the rainbow.
PS: Never said anything about fire...

That ALLAH(SWT) would never destroy the world again by a flood according to the Injeel. The rainbow is the sign of ALLAH's(SWT) promise to Prophet Nuh(PBUH*).
