A lot of Mustangs have wore out several engines, but they keep on rolling. Chances are, with their collectivity it will out live you.
How long the engine will last depends on who rebuilt it and the grade of parts they installed.

Depends...we had a 78 Chevy that was in storage for years. Original tires, and all, it ran great, had no exterior rust when we brought it home 3 years ago. The body and engine were in great shape, but in the end, it rusted apart from the inside and undercarriage. We didn't even know it until my husband drove through melted snow puddles and his feet got wet while driving! We had to scrap the body, but salvaged the engine and other parts. It ran great on its final run, where the parts are now awaiting a "vehicle transplant."
The engine will outlast the body, that's what I can tell you :)

Too many variables in your question. For example, just exactly what do you mean by "last"? Do you mean be road worthy, or just to look at. Are you going to replace it with identical equipment or something extra. If the latter, well, we'd need to know exactly what you're putting in there. Also, the condition of the rest of the car has a direct impact on it's road performance. Sorry that the best I can do is ask you more questions. God Bless you.

That is an unknown question. It all depends on how good the body is now. If the drive train and the suspension is reworked, you should get a bunch of miles and years of service out of it. good luck.
