Yes.
The Bible says, to let your yes be yes and your no be no. There is no mention of "whatever". Jesus said he would rather us be hot or cold. If we are lukewarm (whatever) he will spit us out.
I think we should teach our children to stand strong in the faith of the Lord and speak out with a purpose. If "whatever" rules your life, then you are wasting the life God gave you.

i find it hilarious when a lady asks: "i'm falling in love with a muslim man, what do i do?" and a few people were like : "RUN!!" and some people voted that as the best answer
imagine your dad saying that to you: "RUN!!!"

or conversely him saying: "whatever!" or in a loudy wicked voice: "YeaH WHATEVER DUDE!!" like any partner you come up with will be fully sick no matter what!!
