Most important is living righteously. The Bible declares that if you seek first the kingdom of God then all these things will be added onto you... Therefore if you live righteously then wealth will be added on to you. More importantly though is the riches you will receive in the life to come. simply put Trust God!

As said in the Bible, what good is it to gain the whole world and yet lose your soul. Walking in righteousness is what Yahweh (God) intended his creations to do. So does wealth really matter in the end? No.. Because usually wealth turns a man's heart away from Yahweh and usually that man is not happy or satisfied no matter how much wealth he has.

Define "righteously". If you mean according to the Chrisitan Bible then forget it. If you mean treating everything else that you encounter as having it's OWN right to exist. loving the Universe and everythng within it, then THAT is for me. Monetary wealth is way over rated. All one needs is enough to survive without struggling too much.

Unfortunately most choose the usually impossible task of "hoarding." It disappears and our health diminishes. Righteousness, in Christ, is the first and foremost choice that should be made. "You reap what you sow." The eastern religions believe, "What goes around comes around", Karma.

Most important to what ? The most important thing for daily survival is gaining wealth of some kind...food, home clothes...etc.
Most important to your state of mind and mental health is living righteously.
Most people can do both, it isn't necessarily a choice between one or another.
