OK...I never have really liked my brother's girlfriends (he has only had 2!!) but anyway. He met this one girl from his friend's ex girlfriend. This girl is 17 and my brother is 19. I am his younger sister and I try to tell him if things don't work out she can tell someone he did something to her and he get into trouble. My mom said that in the beginning too but now she is like just don't marry her or sleep with her. And its one of the employee's at our family's business step brother's daughter...but I don't want him dating her because its summer and its my time with him and if he gets a girlfriend I won't ever see him. Also I am known to be a bitchy little sister but when I tell him he goes nothing will happen I won't forget you but when I want to hang out he will be doing something with her. What should I do?

I AM NOT BEING SELFISH! Me and my brother are five years apart but we are very close! And everytime he finds a girl I get pushed to the side...

He is in college in Georgia and I only see him once in a while and I only talk to him once in a while because he is busy with baseball...And when I mean my summer with him I mean the things we would do together over summer when we were younger...we would go hit baseballs together and just bond. Now I don't get that as much...I am not being a ***** but I love him and I mean she is 17!

I have a life and I don't expect him to always hang out with me! But I do like to have my time since he is up in Georgia!

If you are five years younger than your brother you will have to deal with the fact that he has a girlfriend...like it or not. 19 year olds don't have anything in common with 14 year olds. He loves you as his sister but that doesn't mean he's not going to have other friends. When you start dating you won't want to be bothered with your brother all the time either. You need to grow up a little bit on this one.

Sweetie,

I know how you feel and I know you love your brother, but he and you are both getting older and now is an important time for you to learn about and respect your brothers boundaries. He is a grown man now, and exploring a life with a new girlfriend, and I know that you are concerned for him, but you have to trust that he will make the right decisions in his life. If he is a good brother ( which is sounds like he is), he will make time to spend with you like he promises. I hope everything works out :)

It sounds to me like you're a little too attached to your brother and need to find some other friends to hang out with. At some point, siblings do get other friends, and girlfriends and boyfriends. I think it's rather selfish and meddlesome of you to keep "not liking" his girlfriends just so he can spend time with you. It sounds like no matter WHO he tries to date that you'll find some self-centered reason to want her gone. This is not fair to your brother and will eventually drive him away from you. You can't expect a grown man to hang out with his sister all the time for the rest of his life. It's called life. Get one of your own and you won't have to spend so much time worrying about who your brother dates.

You are being selfish about it being summer and "your time."
You are correct about him being an adult and dating a minor. It is a danger sign he should watch out for. People do not always tell the truth and get in trouble when they think with their heart.

Stop being a bitchy little sister, he's 19 and 19 year old guys are interested in girls, that's life get over it. He's old enough to make his own decisions ........good or bad.

You are being a selfish PIA! Mind your own business!!

In a couple of years, do you want your brother deciding who you can and can't date?

Mind your own business or risk driving your brother away from your company.

he should listen to you if family. anyways,..... you should check with him to make sure that if that's the road he wants to take. tell him what some effects might happen. and about how lonely you'll feel when he's not there anymore. this advice is from what i think, you don't have to take my idea

Don't just consider your feelings. Be happy for him. Maybe hang out with both of them.
