Paul wrote that we are figuratively accessible to God and that He "is not far off from each one of us." (Ac 17:27)

Physically however, God has glory and brilliance beyond the ability of fleshly sight to endure, for "no man may see [God] and yet live." (Ex 33:20)

Moses was the closest to actually "seeing" Him and yet even after that, his face emitted "rays" from the experience. (Ex. 34:30-35)

Many people have had visions of Jesus and even God. It's just not "newsworthy" to the world so we don't hear about it too often. Yes we are born in total depravity, but Christ stood in for us so we could live His life and not the life of our dying flesh. So I think if we ask God to see Him, He will reveal Himself to us. Jesus was "God with us," after all.

The kingdom can be seen- The lame walk, the blind see, the lepers cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and to the poor the gospel (good news) is preached. John 7: 22,23. If you don't experience these things Jesus is not in your midst. Your following a religion and not being a true disciple.

It is absolutely wrong.Humans were provided with all the required at any time or phase of civilisation. You needed water, air, food at all times just think over the creation of universe, which resulted in the fulfilment of these requirements, so on and so forth. You required fossil energy fin 20th century, it arranged billions of years ago by creation and destruction of Dinosaurs. You required a judicious sense of appreciation, it is always with you, unless you are sleepy.

Because god is not present and if you think he is you ought to see a shrink... Nutter...!

...and about the birth thing: Speak for yourself, freak. I was born healthy and completely innocent - I'd say that's true of all babies.

Would you rather follow the bible teaching that praises the practice of banging the heads of babies on rocks until they're dead...?

Wacko... through and through. Who out there wants to lay claim to this..?

If I might quote from 2 Corinthians 4:3,4 "... and even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ ..."

Oh we feel his presence, it is contentment in not we ourselves but in him. God is all around few be still and know he is God! When you are saved from an accident by an unseen hand, when comfort comes to you when peril is all around , it is God speaking and taking care of you, his child, which was saved unto him by Christ atoning our sins, by laying down his life that we may accept eternal life.!

Not total.

Just seriously compromised by sin.

Nothing that can't be fixed by baptism, and a lifetime of full and active participation in the work, worship, sacraments, and devotions of the church.

I BELIEVE THAT TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD CAN FEEL HIS PRESENCE WHEN THEY ARE COMMUNICATING WITH HIM THROUGH PRAYER.. HE SAID HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. IF YOUR NOT SAVED BY ACCEPTING JESUS THEN YOU DON'T EXPERIENCE THESE FEELINGS, BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T OPENED YOUR HEART TO HIM. OR IF YOU ARE SAVED BUT YOU HAVEN'T BEEN ACTING AS YOU SHOULD AND HAVE BACKSLIDDEN THEN YOU CAN'T FEEL HIS POWER IN YOUR LIFE....IF YOU SEEK HIM YOU WILL FIND HIM. HE LOVES YOU. ALL HE WANTS IS TO BE LOVED BACK.
