How can I make my layers look shorter then longer from top to bottom,cascading sort of?

yea,here's a picture of what I'm talking about
idk how to explain to my hairdresser how to do it last time she did ok but I don't think she got what I really meant. It was layered,but overall not really what I wanted it to look like. I want my bangs like "swooshy" yea weird lol but I want them layered like very choppy and like my hair but not too crazy choppy.

what you should do is take in a picture of what you want it to look like, but if you didnt like 1 certain thing, then explain it

what helped for my bangs.. i needed to "train" them to the side i wanted, like constantly wear a clip holding them to the side for days also,while i slept.
I even wore cute headbands which were appealing but also getting the job done at the same time. ;-] good luck girlly
P.S.- youre a very pretty girl so dont worry too much about your looks, you look great.

Print out the pic and show it to the person who does your hair . p.s. the way you have your hair in the pic looks really great. if my hair was like that i would not want to change it.

Go to a different salon. It's sometimes hard to find a stylist that understands your needs.
