I have a 1" CHI Flat Iron, how can I curl my hair with it?

When I bought my iron, I read that i could straighten, flip and curl my hair. That was a year ago. And I have tired playing with it, but it won't work. Can someone please tell me how I can curl my hair with a flat iron.

You can't curl anything with a flat iron, that's why they make curling irons.

I always curl my hair with mine. People often think that I use hot rollers. Its hard to explain how to do it but I'll try.

I start close to the root and rotate the flat iron once so that my hair is wrapped around it - but not very tightly. Then pull the iron down the length of your hair like normal. You should end up with a curled section of hair when you're done.

take about a one inch section of your hair, and starting from the top, take the straightener and slide it down that section while twirling it. that's what i do. it sounds confusing, but i don't know any other way to explain it. it's hard at first, but then you get used to it and become a flat iron curling expert ;D

well depending on what kind it is... yo can and you can't like my flatiron is one that you can't curl you hair with but if you have one that gets hot on the outside you can do it just wrap your hair around the flatiron.

lol i would like to know this too as no matter how i try with mine it just gets silly kinks in it and i end up getting the curlihg tong out sigh........
