I am trying to figured out what my new puppy, Maggie is mixed with. The shelter said she is a lab mix. She is 10-12 weeks old and only about 6-7lbs. Here are some links to her pictures.

Thank you!

Maggie is adorable! But I don't think she has much Lab in her. Her features do not look Lab, just her coloring. Also, her size indicates that she is likely to be between 20-30 lbs. full grown. She seems to have some beagle features, and some pit bull features, but at this point it's really hard to say! In a couple of weeks her adult features will become more clear. If you post again then, we will probably be able to give you a better answer!

At that age, most puppies (and all mixed breed puppies) sort of look pretty generic. I could guess a few things, but absolutely nothing with any certainty. The only thing I am certain of is that there probably isn't any lab in her at all if she only weighs 6-7lbs at 10-12 weeks (an average lab of that age should weigh around 20-30lbs!). From those pictures, I would guess that beagle, chihuahua, and/or pug are all very real possibilities.

no longer continuously, no. an excellent breeder of a particular breed will carry out all the suitable wellness try, to minimise the possibility of wellbeing and wellness problems. The breeder will additionally pay close interest to the lines chosen, to heavily line bred would reason problems till you're very experienced. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, some breeders will use canines with extra questionable wellness rankings or no longer carry out particular tests, to apply the canines of their selection. a mixture breed canines ought to be very healthful, yet the two i comprehend many breed canines that have lived long and chuffed lives. interior the tip it incredibly is of venture (you could in basic terms attempt and minimise the possibility). So in case you have an interest in adopting a canines from a rescue, don't be placed off. there are maximum of finding for a 2d threat.

Nice looking pup, looks alert, smart.

Small paws and 1/2 floppy ears might stand up (might not), when she is ~ 5months, she will weigh about 50% of her full adult weight. I'm guessing she will be around 30 pounds or less.

She has spots on her nose like a beagle ... does she bay like a beagle, bark like a lab, or yipe like a chihuahua ? Her color looks like a chi... and she might have some lab in there...

I guess she may be more like a chi with some beagle tendencies... Hard to tell at this age, will be easier at 6 months...

I really don't see any Lab.I see Beagle and perhaps a bit of Chihuahua or Cocker Spaniel
,and looking at her lower jaw, there could be a touch of Pug as well! She's just a nice mix of several different breeds. She's very cute, though, and how nice of you to rescue her.

She looks a lot like my Jack Russel Terrier except for the colour.
Maybe she is a Labrador x Jack Russel Terrier. She has a kinda Labrador-ish colour.

She is very cute! I think I see a little beagle or maybe Shepard in her, its so hard to tell at this age. As she gets older and you are able to see how big she grows, you might have a better idea. =]
