my friend bobo is from canton and she recently went to visit her family and brought me some candy back.
could anyone tell me what they are?

i have 3 of these stick things (one in a blue wrapper, one pink and one in a yellow) that have a little piece of corn on them holding what looks like a piece of butter and it has a character in green that looks like a star, a yellow one below it that looks like a person (kinda) and a blue one below that that doesn't really look like anything.. then next to the corn is a red box with a few white characters in it.

also, i hae these suckers (i think?) that say "dodo" on them - what does lychee taste like?

Leechee nuts , if I remember correctly, reminded me of eating dried prunes. The " paper" they are wrapped in is probably edible also and made from rice.

The owner of a Chinese Laundry in our town sometimes gave them to us. Been almost 50 years ago so my memory is fuzzy
