I have two computers that I would like to run Windows Vista on.

you can try, but note that it is illegal to do so.

you can only run an os on one pc, unless you have a multi licence,

call ms, maybe they will give you like 25 bucks off or something

1 Install CD per computer. Yeah I hate that too. Especially when operating systems cost so much to begin with and then they won't allow you to install on more than 1 computer. That issue started with Windows XP.

You can install it an unlimited number of times on one computer. So if your hard drive crashes, you can reinstall your OS, but you can't put it on a second computer. It won't activate.
