She has never asked the rest of the family to keep it quiet.

Can we mention it whenever we like?

And why would you feel the need to mention it????

I think I'd ASK her what SHE thinks.

As for those who wonder why you'd WANT to mention her past employment, I can imagine saying:

Don't make stupid remarks about strippers, buddy. That's what [Doris] used to do, and you know what SHE's like!

or
Their job doesn't always prove what kind of person somebody is, you know. My [sister-in-law] worked as a stripper for years, and I mean, she's not any different now than she was then!

or
Yeah, [Marcia] really is in great shape. She used to be a stripper, and she's kept up her diet and, well, DIFFERENT exercise . . .

Etc.

I don't see why it would come up in conversation.
I think it would really be like airing out someone else's dirty laundry, if you get my drift. Personally, I wouldn't discuss it unless she herself has discussed it with the person. Even still I would consider it a little bit rude and uncouth.

Uh, no. You should never talk about a person's personal life, period. She can tell them herself if she likes.

Ask her - she is your family.
