I also straighten my hair everyday. My hair is naturally wavy, and I hate it. I read other answers, and letting your hair dry on your own will make it frizzy, and the Herbal Essence shampoo did not work on my hair, and neither does Sunsilk Straightening Shampoo. Last time my hair was trimmed in January, the woman said my hair was like dried out and stuff, and I told her that I wanted it straight, and she suggested using a flat iron. So ever since then, I've been doing that, and last time I went in to the hair place [[to get my hair dyed]], the woman didn't say anything about my hair being dried out or dead, or anything, and when she was done dying my hair, she used a flat iron on it herself.
So using a flat iron probably won't do anything to your hair....Before mine was dyed, my hair barely fell out or anything when I straightened it, so it's probably safe to do that.

You could always get it chemically straightened, so that you don't have to straighten it every day. Also straightning it every day will ruin your hair and make split ends, maybe try to do it 2 times a week? Or maybe putting your hair up in a different style? Its summer, try different styles that will make your hair not look curly. Also do not blow dry your hair, the heat of the blow dryer will damage your hair. Let it air dry.

i know this isnt what you are going to want to hear, but i think you should embrace your curly hair. i have curly hair and when i was younger i used to straighten it every day. there is absolutely no product that will protect your hair 100%. trust me, my hair actually started to fall out.
after you get out of the shower, rub a quarter size of curl enhancer from your roots to your tips and scrunch the hell out of your hair, then take a foamy mousse and scrunch that it too.
if you get the hang of that, and wear it often, it seems like a terrible chore to straighten.

i'm the same way my hair is naturally curly but i straighten it all the time. There's not much to do about but a few things i do to keep it healthy are letting my hair dry instead of blowdry and if i'm just hanging withmy family or with the girls i'll just scrunch it up to keep it from ruining. i feel your pain though.

I even have dark brown thick hair clearly. while it somewhat is dark brown it seems healthful, vivid, and sounds like I even have much less hair & thinner. Thats purely an phantasm, form of like once you place on black outfits, you look thinner. as quickly as I get truly blonde highlights throughout, it seems truly thick, broken, and sounds like I also have a ton of hair and you will see each layer and attitude. a million.) dark brown skinny hair doesnt look undesirable. 2.) dark hair wont truly make your hair look thicker in case you have skinny hair before everything. There are alot of things accessible to make your hair look greater volumized alongside with shampoos. additionally make certain you're taking a nutrition familiar and eat perfect nutrients. Your hair gets in good shape.

There is a shampoo, that I, myself, use. It is called Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine. It is specially made to make your hair look healthier and such. I also straighten my hair just about everyday. Before I started using the shampoo, my hair started becoming dull and lifeless, but after the shampoo & conditioner treatment, my hair looks wonderful. You should try it out.
Hope I helped. :)

Try buying those "straightening serems". They actually help protect your hair, that's what they're made for. Also, make sure you get trims every 4 - 6 weeks to get rid of dead/split ends. Try conditioning/moisturizing your hair, too, and try hair masks for dry and damaged hair.
Hope this helps.

As long as you use a thermal protector in your hair before you straighten it your hair will be okay. it will still be damaged but just not as severely. try the Chi Silk Infusion. it's a gloss that rids the hair of frizz, leaves it soft and shiny, and will hydrate the hair as well.

give it a break, use the product made for flat irons, also an ionic flat iron will last until you get it wet. I have naturally frizzy, wavy hair and I do mine every 4 days, I just wear a shower cap
