About all I can tell you for sure is that if there is no serial number on the gun, and you may have to take the stock off to find it, it was made prior to 1968.

There was no requirement by law to have a serial number prior to then although many companies did. So, if it has a serial number that will be needed to get more history on it.
If it is bolt action is it tube fed or detachable magazine? Some rifles did fire short, longs, and long rifle and the magazine had a spring loaded adjustment to fit the short shells. This isn't a problem with a tube feed.

I think this company has been around a long time but there are others that will know the history better than I. Good luck.
