someone who knows how to sing the anthem the way it was written?

Because every singer who sings the National Anthem publicly thinks they are the bomb diggity and that by switching it up and adding different things to it that they are "original". When really they are just ruining the song.

I started muting the TV for the anthem a while back. When the planes fly over I know it's time to turn it back on!

I'm with you. It is a disgrace when people make their own version. In some countries doing such a thing will get you put into jail and possibly tortured. We as a country are too lax on something so sacred.

i think of the Lakers have this sequence, i presumed it would have been stable to work out Cavs vs Lakers yet inspite of that i woulda nonetheless Lakers would win that. Barkley and the TNT team reported that for the magic to win they might wish LO, Gasol and Kobe all to have off nights on a similar night and that doesnt take place.

This kid has a set of pipes.She sounded good and yes she did miss it by a little but dayyam she has a set of pipes.

I totally agree with you. I think the same thing (a lot). It's about TV, marketing, promotion, blah, blah, blah. . . (you know, $$$$$)
