Free copy of WINRAR and/or DVD copier on web?

Question

Is there anywhere you can find a free copy of winRAR on the internet from a site that could be trusted? AND is there anywhere I can download a program to let me copy my DVDs (commercial ones)... I have a 2 1/2 yr old who is destroying our original copies w/ scratches so I want to copy them....use the copies and save the originals until my kids are older. Again... a safe site.

as for copying copyrighted disks that going to be harder and cant help you there
