Or should the Christian know that I'm just being a good samaritan by "reminding them"?

Yes, and a cleverly veiled one, although most Christians would be too dense to catch it.

As former evangelist Dan Barker put it, "How happy can you be when you think your every action and thought is being monitored by a judgmental ghost?" So, by all means, play with their paranoia whenever possible. :-)

No matter what the circumstances it should be considered a reminder. If they are going through trials it should be a comfort and if they are acting in a manner that God doesn't approve of then it's the act of a good Samaritan. If they are doing good then it should be an encouragement.

God is only watching you if he knows you. He is not watching everyone who professes to be a christian. God does not love everyone.

Let the bible speak.

Jhn 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine

Stop telling people that because it is simply not true.
Jesus custom was to go into the synagoag on the sabbath day. The bible does not support a sunday church anywhere. If that is what you are doing, sorry to say that he does not no you either. Once you know what you need to do and do it than he will no you and send his Holy angels to watch over you. Until than that evil one will stay right there with you.

A Christian should not be bothered by a statement such as this. After all God sees all and knows all and besides God as the Holy Spirit is dwelling inside them. If this statement upsets a Christian, perhaps they are doing something that they shouldn't be

We know God is watching us and thank you for reminding us. We all need constant reminding or we'd be sinning all over the place.

"Should" is irrelevant. If the person thought it was then it was.
I could see that statement being taken as a threat or judgement.
You reminding them means you are judging them!!!! DId they ask you for that?
Look at yourself first!!!
