The guy at the GNC told me that he started to buff up and gain weight from the stuff and that he had started using it when he found out that LL Cool J gained a lot of mass using this stuff. But I am looking at the bottle, there are only 9 calories per serving and three servings a day. How can you possibly gain weight from this? I already take vitamins, proteing shakes, calorie shakes and workout and eat like a horse. I am gaining weight but slowly...does this oil work?? If not what does??

you should be having it if you dont consume enough healthy oils (nuts, seeds, avocados, fish (omega) etc).
if you want to gain weight especially muscle get whey protein - its the best gainer and its all natural. look for one that has at least 15g of protein per serving, as little carbs as possible.
have one shake with breakfast and one after working out.
you can make it with anything you want - milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, water, juice, fruit, berries, flax oil etc.

Flax seed oil is great as a fiber supplement. If you take it, it will give you the...well, poops (if you get my drift).

The guy at GNC is wrong. If LL Col J gained a lot of mass, he did it by lifting weights. The flax seed didn't help. People who work at GNC are not experts on supplements. Anyone can work there. They are supposed to sell products and they will tell you ANYTHING to get you to buy. Especially if you go in there seeming desperate---either to gain weight, lose weight, etc.

Try eating 6 meals a day instead of 3 bigger meals. It will keep your blood sugar levels from going up and down, it will give you more energy. Make sure you are getting enough protein. That is what will help put the weight on. Are you trying to get mass or just weight? Muscle weighs more than fat--remember that. Get out there and start lifting if you aren't already

The guy from GNC shouldn't be offering advice because he knows not what he speaks of.
Flax seed has health benefits-such as improving cardiovascular health, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol and can help with digestion.
Weight gain is NOT one of the effects from flax seed.

I wouldn't think its a good idea only because they say oily products can clog your arteries.. But if you do try it please tell me if it works.. I have weight issues and for some reason nothing I try allows me to gain weight..But then again I would ask a doctor before you use this because even though it might seem like a good idea you could get addicted to this and gain massive weight.. Oh and remember: YOU HAVE TO EXERCISE WHILE YOUR ON A DIET OR ELSE IT WONT WORK.. (unless it tells you not to on the bottle.) GOOD LUCK =)
