We all have the rite to believe in what we want, just because we are not all christian it does not make us or our religion evil.
Christians say you will go to hell if you are not christian, but arn't they braking one of thier 10 commandments. "You must not give false evidence against your neighbour". number 9.
This is what the christians have done to pagan and other
religions, saying that we are all evil that we worship the devil and stuff over thousands of years. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!

Because they are ignorant and equate witchcraft with devil worship. They don't realize that Wiccans don't believe in the devil, it's a Christian concept. They also don't seem to recognize that "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" (may not be the EXACT quote) was actually a mistranslation - it was actually supposed to read "...an evil witch to live".

Not all christians hate non-christians. Christians who say you go to hell, blah blah are just stupid. Don't mean to insult but just to tell facts. There are christians who do not hate non-christians, they have friends who are of another religion and have no problem with it. I have three friends who are christians and have no problem with me not been one.
You mentions right to believe whatever you want, from what I know about the christian God it is said that He treat your choice as a thing that is sacred and he will not invade it even if you make a bad choice.
No race, religion, nationalities are immune to stupidity and ignorance. I know I make stupid mistakes and get caught up by my ignorance many times in life. And emotions like hatred are universal, only the strong will overcome the curses that comes with it(emotions).

I have to agree brother - but I feel this is because many of them are ignorant to the true meaning of Wicca.
Also, it does kind of promote the hatred in the bible... thou shall not suffer a witch to live... and all that.
Unfortunately some forget about the rest of the rules and just go balls out.
I think it is really a combination of things mainly fueled upon though of ignorance and fear.

Not all Christians are hateful. Many here on Y/A actually defend us. I do not see too many hateful questions directed at us. Yes, they believe we are going to hell and they think we worship Satan, but that is just what they have been taught. I have even seen at least one who was very hateful do a 100 degree turnaround and is even nice now.

Because they are scared that wiccans, witches and the like will zap em and cause evil upon them lol. Also the fact that they believe only their religion is correct and denounce any other religions, disrespect for what other people believe and adhere to.

People who are very religious are often intolerant of those whose beliefs do not match their's. Many Christians I think really believe that witchcraft and Wicca = devil worship. Since most Wiccans don't believe in Satan, this is laughable. But Christians wouldn't know that, since they don't bother to learn about other people before condemning them. I think that people fear what they don't understand. That's too bad, since much of Christianity is actually based on Pagan beliefs.

Why do you and other people on here insist on stereotyping people? When will you ever learn that people are individuals and think differently no matter what belief system they hold to?
If you have a problem with Christians pray about it. Prayer changes things and people as well! Ask any hateful person who follows Christ and prays for you and others like you!

I TOTALLY AGREE! It's because the bible is totally against witchcraft and sorcery. Revelation 21:8 says that those who practice magic will die in a fiery lake burning with sulfur. They have no respect for us. What did we ever do to them!? Thank you for posting this question.
