He just came home from work..and hes a truckdriver...i imagine hed be happy to come home..but all he did was gripe about how the house isnt clean..i clean it up..but it gets dirtied up again and that we dont have any thing to eat..but hes the one not working!the whole week he had problems with his check..one time..he only made a 45$ check! ..he makes me so mad...sometimes i hate staying here because hes here..and hes really inmateur..and he gets drunk everynight..all he does is gripe....i wish my mom would get a divorce with him but she wont..i know this is pretty wrong and mean for a daughter to be saying..but i meen..cmon guys...how would u like it if ur dad was like that and made my mom do all the work?.....and he didnt just do it this time..he does it ALL THE TIME..and he always thinks hes right..he thinks he knows everything..i just hate it! i dont know what to do..i dont wanna get out of the house cuz its the summer and i wanna have fun and stay at home for a while...wat do i d

My dad abandoned my mother before I was born. I didn't even know his name until I was 16. And I've NEVER met him.

There is very little to do I am so very sorry. If you say something to him, he will get pissed. All you can do is help your mother as much as possible. He has a drinking problem and until he is ready to deal with it there is nothing that can be done. I would ignore as much as I could. Try and have some fun this summer and do not let his gripping spoil it for you. As far as him knowing everything, no, you are right I have known 3 or 4 truck drivers in my time, and none were very bright. I am not saying all of them I am sure there are some very smart ones out there. He is just unhappy with his life and wants to make you and your mothers unhappy the best thing to do is not let him.

I am a trucker, too. I have an 18 year old daughter, who is going to trade school to become a massage therapyst. She still lives at home, and I love her dearly. I cannot ever think of what it would be like, to treat her like your Pop treats you. You have my sympathy and my respect. You are a brave young lady, and your Dad should be glad he has a daughter. I do hope everything works out for you, honey. You are a nice lady and you deserve a nice life. Good luck.

Rebelling is easy: smoking, eating, primary stuff which could certainly harm your destiny. yet you're perfect, it truly is not a thank you to bypass. a rapid fix? study sparknotes for the bible. could help. i'm afraid I even have grown drained this evening, as I stay in MA and that's 2:06, so my techniques isn't working finished steam.
