well still, 4 weeks old is WAY too young to have this puppy. Who sold this puppy to you? Some very irresponsible breeder, obviously. This puppy shouldn't even by away from its mother right now. Watch out for hypoglycemia. Keep caro syrup near by. If the puppy acts lethargic or weird give it a little pea size drop to raise its sugar. Puppies, especially chihuahuas die from this rapidly! You can also purchase nutrical at a petstore which is high in calories and can supplement this puppy for now. Of course this puppy is going to poop and pee everywhere b/c its so young!! Its not even old enough to comprehend training at this age. Try keeping the puppy confined in a smaller area with papers or pee pads. Thats really your only option at this point in time.

Call the law on the breeder, for one. I know that at least in Florida it's ILLEGAL to sell a pup that young. For second, don't expect immediate success, and do away with the pads. They train a dog to go inside, and it's tough to train out. Plus, the pup can't make the difference between pads and the newspaper, do you want piddle on your paper? A puppy has little control over bladder function before 4 months. The best you can do at this point is feed on a schedule and take it outside after every meal time and every time it drinks water. No treats between meals, and don't be alarmed if the pup won't eat. Feed three times a day, water often, and take the puppy outside every hour or so inbetween. Up it to two hours when it's 2months old, 3 at three month, and so on until housetraining is complete. Get a crate for nights and when your not around, and clean it with odor neutrilizers when accidents happen. Constant supervision out of crate is a MUST, so you may want to tether the pup. Just get a leash and colar, it's no big deal. Good luck with your puppy, and I'm serious, call the law. You'll prolly have tons of problems with nipping and socializing, as these are learned in the 7th and 8th weeks from the pups mother and littermates.

I really hope you mean 2 month old chihuahua.
A 2 week old should be nursing from its mother or should be bottle fed. You can't expect to potty train a dog that young.

Your puppy is too young. It needs to be back with it's mother. Take it back to wherever you got the dog and tell the "breeder" to keep the puppy until it's 8 weeks old.

If he's only two weeks old, give him a break. He can't be trained for a couple more weeks. Where is his mother? He should still be with her, do you bottle feed him? His eyes are barely open yet!
