I have been on a diet for 2weeks and have lost 9 pounds.
MORE important than that! I have been eating 3 meals a day.
The thing I want to ask is,
I have 3 meals a day and eat konnyaku mixed in with my meals to
make it more filling!
It doesn't have any calories at all and I am full before eating 1200 calories.
I only have been getting about 800 calories total.
Is this ok?
I AM eating! And! I am always FULL!
Will this still slow down my metabolism????
I am full of energy and have felt no downfalls as of yet!

Is this okay to eat only about 800 calories, when I am eating konyaku too?

My basic meal consists of soybean products, tofu, soymilk etc..
I am getting protein so I guess thats whats keeping me going.
If 800 is too little calories, then, I guess
adding a few soy bean bars will do me good ? ( I really am full all the time with absolutely no hunger or cravings!)
I actually will have to force myself to eat more! ( I guess its a good thing)

Even if you feel FULL and for the time being you still have energey...know that in the long run your body will eventuallly start to break down and maybe even FAIL because 800 calories is simply TOO LITTLE to meet the daily demands of anybody. It is NOT HEALTHy, even if you think you feel fine. The bad effects on your health will eventually start to show.

When you're an athlete you naturally burn more calories, so your body needs more as well. Professional swimmers end up needing to eat over 4,000 calories so their bodies don't start breaking down muscle for energy. As long as you're eating HEALTHY calories, the amount your eating shouldn't be a problem. But you want to make sure to get at least 1,200 daily. Dipping below that can weaken you, cause your body to consume muscle stores for energy and slow you down.

1200 CALORIES!!! Even if you're an adult you should eat at leats 1400 in my opinion. Just because you fell full doesn't mean you have all your calories. Get rid of that konnyaku stuff.

You will lose more, and more permanently, if you take in 1200 calories.
