I met this guy a few months ago, and I know he likes me. But he says he just wants to be friends. I think he's quite lonely and doesn't have many friends back home, and we really got on at first. But now he calls me, texts me and emails me almost every day, sometimes several times a day. He is actually being nice which is the problem - he's not at all threataning. But I want him to stop - I've tried ignoring calls etc but he just calls again. I don't wanna do anything too drastic cos he isn't actually being horrible, but I don't even really want to talk to/see him again. What can I do??? Please help.

I know it's hard to let the good ones down, cause they are so nice you don't wan to hurt them. The best thing you can do is be honest. Next time he calls and you have time to talk answer and let him now that his calling, emailing and texting is just to much. As him to back off for awhile. I know that doens't completely make him stop, but once he slows down it will be easier for him to get the picture and you wont have to answer.

Best of luck! Take Care.

Be completely honest with him. If he really is a nice guy, he will stop calling. By the way, you must set the parameters with absolute clarity. If you don't want him to call ever again, say so. If he's allowed to call once a week, specify this. If you do not set the guidelines now, you will have to confront him all over again at some point down the line.

If it turns out that he is a creep and does not cease contact even though you've asked him to stop, you are going to have to be even more assertive. Have his number blocked, for example.

Good luck. This is a difficult situation, but you will feel better once you've asserted yourself and saved your sanity.

Hello There ! I Honestly believe that (Your Caller) is not even "Aware" that He is no longer welcomed to call you anymore. I think that, telling Him to go away is a bit (Harsh) I think that even (You) would want to hear the **TRUTH** & so that way all could be (Resolved) & everyone can get on w/theire Lives. I believe that what is said & what has'nt been said are indeed two different paths. The Path you chose is the one that Reflects the way in which you (Interact) with People & how others Interact w/you. I sure hope that whatever you do to find *Closure* & that when you've moved on in life I sure hope that you only Reflect on the Good things that brought you to where you wanted to go. Good Luck to you & just keep what you want , & the rest of things should come to past. rumeoui.

Hard situation...

If I want someone to leave me alone I would tell them I'm busy. Say you are busy with school and can't spend as much time talking online. I would also reply to any emails I got in a short fashion, and maybe after 3-4 days.

You need to drive the point home go to the police station and fill out a report, he will get a phone call to stop doing this, just take the bull by the horns and deal with this.
