This is a good old standby. Use the inside of your paper shopping bags. Hopefully you aren't loaded up with plastic ones, but the brown paper bags do really work! (They are also good for shaking up the treats "Mud Chex Treats", Caramel Corn, you can cover your turkey with it, etc. Good luck!
note:
I would be sure to Pam them or put a bit of oil over the paper since you are cooking with cheese.

Can you spray the pan with Pam or give it a thin layer of oil?
That will help to keep the mozzarella sticks from sticking, and make it easier to clean the pan too.
Also, if you have any parchment paper for baking - that will work.

First, I would try waxed paper, then parchment paper sprayed with vegetable cooking spray (PAM), and if you have neither of those, the paper bag trick works pretty well......just watch them so that they don't get so overcooked that they start melting to the bag.....Good luck and enjoy!!!

Just put them straight onto the pan, I do it all the time. As long as you give it a light spritz of nonstick cooking spray, they will slide right off and cleanup will be easy.

Use wax paper or parchment paper and spray it lightly with cooking spray.

If you're not going too hot, you could put them in a non-stick pan or skillet.
