I am a 200 and something pound teenager and i need to lose weight before i go back to school. i need to do this because i need to have more self-confidense. i also need to do this because i have some medical problems and i feel that it is because of my weight that i have bad knees and hips. Also i have a bad family history, almost every one on my dads side of the family has died at a young age(if they were over weight as a kid they normaly die in their late 20's to early 30's, but if the were skinny as a kid and became over weight when they were older they died in their early 60's) and i don't want to die that young so i need help!

The only way to lose that much weight in such a short time is with surgical intervention. There is no physically possible way to lose that much weight in just a month and a half unless you cut your own leg off.

This helped me. First of all, think, "How long did it take me to gain this weight?" Give yourself time to lose that weight. Next, use a StairMaster and the treadmill. The StairMaster will firm up your rump, and the treadmill will trim up the thighs and calves. Light weights will trim your arms and upper torso. You don't need to lose muscle. If you have a treadmill that shows calories used, you will realize that it takes about 15 minutes to lose that 110 calorie cookie that you ate last night. From now on you will easily consider what you are about to consume and make changes in your dietary habits. Give yourself time. Rapid weight loss can, also, result in rapid weight gain in the future, which is what you don't want. Two or three pounds of weight loss a week is a healthy way to lose your weight. Losing too much weight quickly can cause problems later. Losing weight at a slower place will not resolve your immediate problem, but you will be trim enough to attend the end-of-the-year party. Take it easy. Oh! Save your money for those new clothes that you will have fun buying.

As a former Anorexic(?) I think I should say that there is no way that you can accomplish this in such a short amount of time. For you to lose 100 pounds the healthy way, you'd need at least a year. Not even doing it the unhealthy way, you can lose that kind of weight. It's just not possible.
I'm sure you're tired of hearing this but you need to do things right in order to stay healthy and not die. Exercise and diet is the sure and right way. And I promise you, as soon as you start doing these things and you see that you're losing weight, your confidence will go through the roof! I guarantee it!

At most you could probably lose 30 lbs. 45 days is about 6 weeks and usually one can lose about 2-3 pounds per week but if you work really hard you might be able to lose about 5 lbs a week. running is amazing for making you lose weight. i ran every day last summer for just two weeks and looked a lot more toned. if running is too difficult try to do at least 3 20 minute walks a day. also taking classes like pilates are really good for toning and can help lose weight. if your aiming to lose a lot of weight id say try to do 2 hours of exercise every day. also try to drink 3 liters of water every day. taking soda our of your diet can do wonders with losing weight. Try to take everything out of your kitchen that is unhealthy so that it will help temptation go away. Have at least one meal a day be all fruit and vegetables. Special k cereals really help too so just make sure you don't skip breakfast because you lose more weight when you eat breakfast. yoplait light really helps your abdominals lose the extra lbs, i ate it every day for two weeks and my abs looked better than ever. Also try to exercise while watching tv. if you do crunches during commercials. lastly when i deleated my facebook and aim i had lots more time to do other things more actively because i wasnt sitting at the computer for hours at a time so if you have something online your addicted to id get rid of it for the time being. hope this helps! and good luck!

That's impossible. You can lose weight by joining a gym and stay away from eating out. You can still lose about 10 - 20 pounds before you go. Don't give up now, because you can lose those hundred pounds during the school year.

Well in 45 days you can't lose 100 pounds, but you can lose 25 or so most likely, more if you really try. But you have to do it the safe way otherwise you could really hurt yourself. And if you lose it too fast you have a greater chance of gaining it back. Good luck and be careful.

there is no realy way to lose 100 lbs in 45 days with out surgery.

If you cut out Bread, Pasta and Sugars and really focus on working out and watching your fat intake you can probably lose enough weight to see a big change. It will help your self esteme and if you continue watching after school starts you will continue to lose and feel better about yourself.

do it by changing your diet to fruits, veggies, nuts and rice.
or join weight watchers or another group for support
it will take you 2 years of concentrated effort to lose 100 lbs.
start an exercise program right away. start walking 2 miles a day. it's free. walk on the road in your neighborhood.
