Me and my friend are planning to go away for new years and are hoping to go somewhere nice and warm. We do like drinking and socialising but also like the relaxing part of an holiday coz it is our university break. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you,

Ben :p

This is an easy one. Vietnam is the new place to go. The country is absolutely beautiful. With miles of white sand beach's, Cool mountain hideaways, Great city night life and cozy country inn's. Its very inexpensive. You can get nice hotel rooms for $10 and beer is 15 cents a glass. The people are wonderful. I have traveled just about everywhere and I ended up buying a home here because I like it so much. Flights from almost any where are around $1000 USD. You more than make up the difference with the inexpensive lodging etc. Also, you are close to Thailand, Cambodia , (Angkor Wat) Lao, Hong Kong, A ticket to Kuala Lumpur is about $50, Lots to do and plenty to see. Check it out.

It depends on whether you want to go to the United States, or other locations. Some great places to visit in the U.S. include South Padre Island, Texas (awesome spring-break location, but still warm and mostly sunny in the winter too), Southern California, or the Florida Keyes. The Bahamas, Jamaica, or the Carribbean are also really beautiful and warm. But if you want to be REALLY adventurous - try Central or South American destinations! Honduras is beautiful, as are Nicaragua, Belize, Costa Rica, and Bolivia.

A great place to plan your holiday would be in Florida especially the Gulf side anywhere between Sarasota or Fort Myers. If you need some further information on airline, hotel and car rentals I can be of service to you, as I lived in southwest Florida for over 20 yrs and can help plan the trip from making reservations to helping you with the best spots to visit.

Arizona Phoenix, Tucson and Sedona.
You don't say what holiday break so don't come in the summer unless prepared for the heat.

Arizona cities and sprawling and the everyday atmostphere is very relaxed with everything from Casinos, 5 star hotels and little out of the way places. Natural beautiful unsurpassed.

How about the Carribean? Loads of islands to choose from, and that is the right time of year to go. I think it would be great for you both! ENJOY!
