why have you cheated in the past, and how far did it go?
i'm wondering if there is a connection between the reason that pushes someone to cheat and what they do because of it... also in which way you got involved, how did you feel about it and how did you feel about it after your partner found out.

people might be tempted to look for affection elsewhere when they are being neglected at home. treasure your loved one and treat her like the gem she, make her the center of your world and reflect that choice in all your actions and she'll never look anywhere else! if she does then she's probably just not ready for that life and will probably spend the rest of her years wondering why she let mr. right get away!

There's a lot of reasons why men and women cheat. In any scenario it's not justified.

I've cheated, but not to the point of sex. I've been the cheater, and been with a guy who was cheating. I don't think anything pushed me to cheat on my boyfriend, except that the oppertunity was presented and i was overcome with temporary lust. It was stupid, but in the end, it only showed me that I obviously didn't care about him as much as I thought... I felt bad to see that my guy was hurt, but then I also knew that it obviously meant we had to come to an end. When I realized that I definitely would have done it if he hadn't found out, I realized he wasn't the one for me.

Not all women cheat. And men cheat just as much, if not more. People who do cheat have different reasons like, fear of commitment, low self-esteem, etc.

Well, depressedandlost, you feel women cheat so much is because you can't seem to keep one. If a few women have already cheated on you, then it's not really them, it's you. Are you overly jealous? Insecure? Abusive? Smothering? Inattentive?

Cheating is caused by the sin of lust. A person, man or woman is tempted by lust and instead of turning from this sin they give in and commit it. Plain and simple. There are many people who do not give in to the temptation of lust and turn away and stay faithful to their spouse and are much happier for it. Those who do give in, suffer the consequences for their bad decision to give in. All kinds of pain and suffering are caused by giving in to it.

it is not only women that do it. Any decent woman would not, any decent man would not. If anyone is in a relationship, it is up to you both to keep the relationship alive, it has to be worked at or it will die and sadly people move in to the arms of others

not all women cheat. sex for women is more emotional than physical lust. a woman will cheat if she feels neglected and will often fall for someone who is a bit 'prince charming' ish.

i have never cheated on anyone, and i never want to :-)

I would venture to guess that most Women who cheat, do so, because they lack the attention they desire and are too afraid to tell their partner what they want for fear of hurting his fealings....

But I'm guessing...
